We'd like to use cookies from Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity to measure our ads and improve this site. They only turn on if you click Accept all. Our client portal and booking system never use them. Cookie policy

1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Restorative Care Counseling LLC ("RCC," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our website at restorativecarecounseling.com (the "Website").
This policy covers the Website only. It does not cover the confidential health information we maintain as your treating provider. Those practices are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, available at /notice-of-privacy-practices.
2. We do not collect information from you on this Website
This is the most important thing to know about our Website, and we want to state it plainly.
There are no forms on this Website. No contact form, no intake form, no inquiry form, no newsletter signup, no chat widget. There is nothing here for you to fill in and nothing for us to submit on your behalf.
Our email address appears in the footer as a standard link. If you write to us, we receive your email the same way anyone receives email — but nothing is captured, logged, or stored by this Website itself.
No health information is collected, stored, or processed on this Website. Not by us, and not by anyone acting on our behalf.
You can do exactly two things here:
Read our pages. Information about our clinicians, the approaches we use, the conditions we treat, and the insurance plans we accept.
Click "Book Now." This takes you to our SimplePractice client portal at clientsecure.me — a separate, HIPAA-compliant platform operating under a Business Associate Agreement with us. Everything clinical happens there: intake, scheduling, documentation, billing, and secure messaging.
Our phone number is a direct link to our practice line. We do not use call tracking. When you call, the call goes to us — no third-party service logs your number, records the call, or connects it to your visit here.
This is a deliberate design. Your health information belongs in a system built and contractually obligated to protect it, not on a marketing website.
3. What is collected automatically
Although you cannot submit anything to us here, visiting any website generates technical information. On this Website, that consists of:
IP address and approximate geographic location
Browser type, device type, operating system, and screen size
Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, and links clicked — including clicks on the "Book Now" button
Referring website or advertisement
Date and time of visit
Mouse movement and scrolling behavior, recorded as a session replay (see Section 4)
We want to be honest about what this means. This information can indicate that a particular visitor read about a specific condition or treatment approach, and that they clicked through to book. That is why we require your consent before any of it is collected, and why we have configured these tools as restrictively as they allow.
4. Tracking technologies we use — named
We use the following third-party technologies. Each receives some of the information described above.
Technology Provider What it does What it receives Google Analytics 4 (G-T18WS34E7N) Google LLC Measures site traffic and behavior IP address, device data, pages viewed, events Microsoft Clarity (xhw0ygmb0f) Microsoft Corporation Records your session — a replay of mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks Session recording, device data, IP address Google Ads conversion tracking Google LLC Measures advertising performance Ad click identifiers, conversion events LeadConnector / GoHighLevel HighLevel Inc. Website hosting Page delivery, basic request data
A complete, automatically updated list of every cookie in use appears at the bottom of this page.
4.1 Session recording — what this means
Microsoft Clarity records a visual replay of your visit: where you moved your cursor, how far you scrolled, what you clicked.
We have set Clarity to Strict masking, its most protective setting, which obscures all text before it leaves your browser. Because this Website has no forms, there is nothing for you to type here in any case.
We use these recordings only to find usability problems — pages that load incorrectly, buttons that are hard to find, layouts that break on certain devices.
4.2 Your consent controls all of this
None of the technologies above load until you consent. When you first visit, you will see a banner offering a genuine choice, with declining as easy as accepting. If you decline, these technologies are blocked and do not run.
You may change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in our footer.
Only strictly necessary cookies — those required for the site to function and to remember your consent choice — operate without consent.
5. How we use Website information
Only for:
Understanding how visitors use the Website so we can improve it
Measuring whether our advertising reaches people who need care
Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents
Complying with our legal and professional obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers. We do not build advertising profiles about individual visitors.
6. Text messaging (SMS)
We offer appointment reminders by text. You cannot sign up for this on the Website. Enrollment happens only during intake in the SimplePractice portal, where you affirmatively opt in.
If you are enrolled, you may receive messages regarding appointment scheduling and confirmation.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors providing support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
7. How long information is kept
Category Retention period Website analytics data 14 months, then automatically deleted Session recordings (Microsoft Clarity) 30 days Advertising and conversion data Per Google's retention settings, generally 90 days to 13 months Consent records 4 years Clinical records for clientsMinimum 7 years from the date of last professional contact, as required by Florida law governing licensed mental health professionals
Because the Website collects no inquiries, contact details, or health information, there is no such data for us to retain.
8. Your choices and rights
You may:
Withdraw consent to tracking at any time via the footer link
Opt out of SMS by replying STOP
Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
Request deletion of Website data, subject to Section 8.1
Contact us using Section 11.
8.1 What we cannot delete
Clinical records cannot be deleted on request. Florida law requires licensed mental health professionals to retain client records for a minimum of seven years from last professional contact. We cannot lawfully honor a deletion request for those records during that period, and we will tell you so directly rather than quietly declining.
We may also retain information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Rights concerning your clinical record — access, amendment, restriction requests, and an accounting of disclosures — are governed by HIPAA and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this policy.
9. Confidentiality of clinical information
Information you share with us as a client is confidential and protected by HIPAA and Florida law. We disclose it only:
When required by law, including valid court orders and mandatory reporting obligations
In emergencies, where there is a serious and imminent risk of harm to you or another person
For insurance billing, limited to the minimum necessary
With your written authorization
Full detail, including your rights and how to file a complaint, is in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
10. Children and minors
We provide therapy to children and adolescents, including play therapy, sand-tray therapy, and family therapy.
Treatment of a minor requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian, obtained through the SimplePractice portal before services begin. Florida law governs when a minor may consent to their own mental health treatment and when a parent may access a minor's records; we follow those rules and discuss them with families directly.
Regarding this Website: it is directed to parents, guardians, and adults seeking care. Because the Website has no forms, no child can submit information to us through it.
For questions about your clinical record or your HIPAA rights, see our Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how to file a complaint with us or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights.
12. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. Clinical information is maintained in SimplePractice under a Business Associate Agreement.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please do not send health information by email or text message. Use the SimplePractice portal, which is built for it.
13. Accessibility
We are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. If you encounter a barrier using this site, contact us at Section 11 and we will help you get the information you need. See our Accessibility Statement at /accessibility.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make a material change to what we collect or share, we will post notice on the Website before it takes effect.
15. Scope of practice
Restorative Care Counseling LLC provides telehealth services to individuals physically located in the State of Florida only. Our clinicians are licensed in Florida.
